Your set is in the French provincial style which has come in and out of fashion many times, the latest incarnation as "French Country". Its biggest revival was in the late 1950's, which this suite appears to date from. Without actually examining the suite its difficult to determine if this suite dates from the late 1920's or 50's, both Revival periods for this style. Demands for suites of this type is not currently very great, you can check Auction values for suites of this type here: http://www.liveauctioneers.com/search?q=french+provincial+suite&&sort=relevance&dtype=gallery&type=complete&rows=20 Lovejoy

My parents have this same set, but with some different side pieces, in a very pretty medium wood finish. They bought it at Jacobsen's Dept Store in Toledo Ohio in 1981/2/3. They say it was very expensive at the time. I've been searching for the name of this collection by Jamestown Furniture, but no luck so far. Most of the other furniture I've found by Jamestown Furniture Co is called "Feudal".
