Vintage Gucci Flask

By emilio613, 16 June, 2009
Description

This is a vintage Gucci flask, made in Italy as indicated by the leather label on the bottom of the flask. The label says "made in Italy by Gucci" in gold letters. It is in excellent shape aside from some VERY light oxidation to the metal bottom (not rust, just rough to the touch a bit).

It is wrapped in leather, with an embossed (is that the word for it?) Gucci pattern, like a chain link fence. leather is light reddish brown (more brown than red).

Made entirely of glass, with a metal cap.

Not that large, 13cm high, 6cm wide and 2 cm thick, with the cap being 1.5 cm tall and in diameter.

I bought it a while back (7 or 8 years) in a thrift store. just liked the way it looked, and it was only like 5 dollars. I only noticed it was Gucci later.

If anyone can help with this mystery, it'd be appreciated!!

value, era, anything!

Thank you.

Not for sale...at the moment ;)
