This figurine is stamped in red "Japan" - It looks to have been handpainted. I have looked on Ebay many times for a clue, but have yet to come across anything like this one.

your little dog dates to the late 1930's, early 40's. Bobble heads of any kind are collectible..I would price him at $25-30. With no manufaturer mark its hard to determine which company made him. He may have been a Lefton or Enesco piece, some of which were marked with just a sticker, which buyers removed.
