Description
I recently purchased a group of vintage kokeshi dolls. This one is really interesting. It is 13" tall, very thick and heavy. I don't know the history but on the back side it has Mr. H.M.Brock. I'm not sure if it this was made for the famous British Illustrator, H. M. Brock. It has a lovely scene on the front, and also I'm not sure what the Japanese characters say beside Mr. Brock's name. One the bottom of the doll, it is hard to make out exactly what it says, but it does include the date, 1958. I would appreciate any information. The artist's name, how much is it worth, etc.
