This New Haven double hunter pocket watch measures 3" from hinge to top of stem, 1 3/4" across the face. Serial number on clock works is 1771249. The front cover has a floral design with space for a monogram, inside the front cover bears the numbers 0270669 (these numbers are also on the inside of the back cover and the third cover protecting the clockworks. The rear cover depicts a harness horse with sulky and driver; iside is "14K inside a horizontal diamond. The dial is white and not discolored and on the dial a steam train is above the hour/minute hands with a second hand dial at the 6:00 position. All hands are attached to the dial. Also on the dial is N.H.W.Co. The clockworks have N.H.W.Co. engraved in cursive letters and a steam engine with "SPECIAL" engraved in the steam from the smoke stack. Hinges are at the 9:00 position and the stem at the 3:00. Will tick for a few seconds then stops. Stem wound with a lever at the 5:00 position that when extended allows for the positioning of the hands when the stem is wound.
