Hello, I had found some sunglasses recently that had belonged to my grandparents. I am having a hard time finding any information about this model online, and was hoping to get an idea of the timeframe, model/style, and an estimation on the potential value.
They have a solid weight to them and seem to be very good quality, so I believe they are authentic.
They have a gold Ray-Ban logo on the top of one lense and have BL on the sides of both lenses.
They have small textured ridges around the frame and say RayBan on the joint where the arms connect. I cannot find any other writing except on the inside of each of the clear nose pieces, where there is a BL engraved.
I appreciate whoever can provide any assistance on the information about these. I am quite confident they are authentic but if not please let me know regardless. Thank you.
Re: Vintage Ray Bans Sunglasses
Looks like Ray-Ban W1761 Deco Metals Round sunglasses https://www.vintagesunglassesshop.com/item_vs443.html
Some on Etsy https://www.etsy.com/listing/241521110/vintage-bl-ray-ban-w1761-deco-me…
This video https://youtu.be/IrDysdNt7G4 makes me believe your sunglasses are from the 90’s.
Both examples I’ve found are in new condition so maybe an estimate value based on those keeping in mind that yours aren’t in new old stock condition.
