Vintage RCA Victrola New Vista record player

By Nicoledgraves, 30 April, 2014
Description

I found this vintage record player today and I have

been looking all over google to find out what year

it was made and how much it is worth. I know it

needs some tlc. I am not going to plug it in until

I get it cleaned up, the lady I got it from did say that

it was working when she last plugged it in. I would

like to know how old it is, how much it is worth as

is, and what it is potentially worth fully restored. I

do not plan to sell it, I plan to restore it and keep it

around. I am just curious how good of a score I got

on it ;) thanks so much for your time!!!

Re: Vintage RCA Victrola New Vista record player

From the look of it it's late 1960's, sadly there is almost no demand for these "Hi Fi" consoles, most go at auction, if they get a bid at all, for less than $50.00. Part of the problem is the cost of restoring them far exceeds any value they have in the current market.
