Actually figure neither is worth anything. When i bought these items from this garage sale...I just thought they would be great for my collages and I fell in love with the design on the Oriental Damask Jewelry.
I have a box full of sheet music from the late 1800s (like Eva Tanguay's -Mother-signed all the way to Bing Crosby). I can't imagine its worth much but really just want the green light so I can put this into my art. lol
As I am looking at the jewelry, while it matches perfectly I'm not sure they were intended to be together. The earrings are definitely a peacock type crest. The pendant on the necklace is about 2 1/2 inches (?) The pendant itself resembles a "shield" of some sort. In the middle, it is raised. Inside this curved, raised square is the crest. The crest has eagle falcon looking wings, a crown with a cross, 2 headed bird (?), shield, 2 legs, feet. On the left foot is some sort of wand. On the right foot is some sort of ball ornament. Beautiful etchings on the outside.
Again, I picked the set up for maybe $15.00 (more than the sheet music)....I just thought the design was so cool. Just looking for that green light to wear it. lol
