Long Description
I acquired this doll from an estate sale and have no history on her. I am not a doll collector and have no knowledge on vintage dolls. Due to the wig all I can see on the back of the head is "Simon & Halbig" with the number "15". There is also a date and a name engraved into the head. It looks like Jean Ahlgrim 3/83 (1883?). The doll is in very good vintage condition. I can see no damage. There is a rattle sound when she is turned over. Sounds like a small piece of something rolling around in her body. I'm trying to find out if she is an original or aĀ reproduction,Ā about when she was made and about how much she is worth.Ā
