Vintage Simon & Halbig 23" Doll

Description

I acquired this doll from an estate sale and have no history on her. I am not a doll collector and have no knowledge on vintage dolls. Due to the wig all I can see on the back of the head is "Simon & Halbig" with the number "15". There is also a date and a name engraved into the head. It looks like Jean Ahlgrim 3/83 (1883?). The doll is in very good vintage condition. I can see no damage. There is a rattle sound when she is turned over. Sounds like a small piece of something rolling around in her body. I'm trying to find out if she is an original or a reproduction, about when she was made and about how much she is worth.
