Description

Hello I was hoping someone could tell me the value of this really cool U.S. Military Hand Grenades Crate which looks like its from the Vietnam War. It appears someone has folk art painted a lighthouse/beach scene on the lid, possibly a solider during the war? I don't know if that detracts from the value or not. Below are the main markings on the crate. How much do you think crate is worth?

Grenade crates like this sell as surplus for about $25.00 and up to about $45.00 on Ebay. There is no way of knowing who painted the picture or when it was added. We'd probably retail a comparable for about $100.00.
