History
The Visalia Stock Saddle Co. has been called "arguably the most illustrious and historic saddlery in California". The company started up in Visalia, CA in 1870 and moved to San Francisco in 1887. In 1950 the company was moved to Sacramento. They are currently located in Morro Bay, CA.

During the course of the company's 137 year history, Visalia Stock Saddle, Co has suffered two major fires. The first was during the great San Francisco Quake of 1906. The second was in the early 1950’s when the company was located in Sacramento, CA. The result of these two disasters is that virtually all records were destroyed, as the company was literally burned to the ground.
