One was given to me in Pickering Ontario 1975- 76 It had a tag which read that is was made of Hickory with a steel shaft attached at the tip. It mentions that the Brass was heat set into the wood. I got fairly good at tossing it to it's mark. The manufacturer shure knew his canes. Let me know if you find out who made it and where. And no, lol. I'm not selling mine. Thanks

I had one and lost it when left in overhead luggage on a flight to Australia. Bought in Ohio at a tobacco store in the 70's, lost in the early 90's. Beautiful balance. Made by the walking stick company(WS). No longer around, though others use the name. I though the wood was Willow or Beech and guaranteed not to break. Been looking for another one for 20 years. The brass was polished and the wood a bit lighter than in you photo.
