AI Appraisal

Description

Before I give this wash stand to the charity shop I would like to know a bit about it, including what it is worth! I don't know anything about it, apart from it being a wash stand and I was told the tiles are original!

I purchased it from a car boot approx 15 years ago for £20 and used it in my hall way to put the families shoes in.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Wash stand

It's late 19th Century, pretty typical of English washstands circa 1890-1910, the tiles were often made by Minton's. Ones like this still often go at auction for about 100 pounds.
