Description

When I was a kid I would go to my uncles home in Pasadena with family a few times a year.  He owned this buffet and would always put candy in the top drawers, filled to the top, mostly taffy. When we asked for candy he would say "check the Wayne gothic buffet".

I inherited it a few years back and recentlyI researched "Wayne gothic". I could find nothing on the internet. The other day I was looking at it and it finally occured to me what he meant. Notice the pattern of the grain on the drawers? Wayne gothic? Yep. Bruce Wayne.

My research found that this was made by Royal Furniture of Grand Rapids Michigan, probably around 1913-1919? Empire flame mahagony. The veneer is damaged in a couple of spots, see pics.

I am thinking about selling it but I am not sure where or how much to ask for it. Any help would be appreciated.
