Mystery Chandelier Offers Possibilites
This chandelier is 36 inches high and about 18 inches wide from candle to candle. It has a crown with leaves at the top. Some of the prisms are glass, some are missing, and some, like in the center area at the bottom of the chandelier, are plastic. They are arranged like fruit (the plastic ones).
The light is heavy, and parts are iron, because a magnet adheres to it, like the crown and the bottom. The rest could be brass that has begun to oxidize because it needs cleaning or it may have just been left in a drafty area.
Is it Hollywood Regency? Empire influenced? Worth restoring?
