History I have been told that this was my fathers'. He was born in 1931.

<p>Your rocker is in what&#39;s called the &quot; Colonial Revival Style&quot;, the style in oak popular from the turn of the 19th century until the mid 1920&#39;s. Values for furniture of this type reached its peak of popularity  about ten years ago and values are not what they were. These now sell for less than $150.00.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Lovejoy </p>

Thank you so very much.  My husband the naysayer still doesn&#39;t think that it&#39;s that old.    lol.   I don&#39;t care, it still has sentimental value to me.   Thanks again.
