Description Found this at an estate I'm helping to liquidate. Confused b/c the mark leads me to believe it's fro the late 18th to mid 19th century b/c it's impressed and not stamped. Also it has the made in england impressed in the plate as well. I used online guides to research these makers marks and that led me to believe it's older than I originally thought. HOWEVER,it's in such good shape and I'm just a skeptical kind of person, that I'm suspicious it's really that old. I'm attaching photos that aren't of the greatest quality, but I took them quickly as I was leaving estate and didnt' want to transport this item. Just in case..... And information would be appreciated and it's definitely for sale, but I have no idea of it's authenticity. Thanks for doing this!!! Jennifer

Your Wedgwood is what's called embossed Queensware, the marking " Made In England" indicates a date after the turn of the 19th century, the marking in general use by 1908. It's not rare, the product has been in production for a considerable period of time, it's also listed here: http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trksid=p3902.m38.l1313&_nkw=embossed+queensware&_sacat=See-All-Categories Lovejoy
