Hello. I just purchased one for 1200, The gentleman who sold it paid 5000 in 1982. The clock in the photo is not the 610-156 "President" model. The president is a very large clock with 9 tubular bells, triple chime, cable driven with a moon dial.

Im also looking to sell my Howard Miller Grandfather clock. Its called the President 610-156. Its a crank-wound cable driven triple, nine tubular bell movement is one of the finest clock movements made. It has a five position chime selection that plays the famed cathedral chimes of Westminster, Winscher, and St. Michael, and also has a silence setting or allows only the hour strike.Th solid brass dial features separates silver-plated hour and second dials. The polished brass lyre pendulum is almost 11" in diameter. The superb oak cabinety is accented with rare, imported Carpathian elm burl facings. All glass, front, and sides , is hand beveled. It measures H. 87", W 27 1/4" D 18"
