Better Photos?

I'd love to comment on these, but the pictures are such low quality that it's very difficult to tell anything more than they are sculptures. Can you upload some more detailed photos which show the objects up close?

New pics can you help

They look like pieces from a 1970's " Made In Mexico" chess set. These sets were made in marble, onyx, jade etc... in great numbers. I suggest you check ebay for a match to your pieces.

Thank you for you comment, I had no idea, these are about 6 to 8 inches tall the jade pice weights almost a pound the ebony a little less, Did they make them that big. GLane

Chest set

They sure did, they used to fall over a lot ans snap in half ( maybe it was all the wine ;~) try a search on ebay, there should be quite a pile of them listed.

I checked out a lot of sets, none were flat on the back side lit what I have, could they be book ends or door stops of some kind G Lane

Chess sets

Mine were all flat backs, could be they're book ends or just ornamental pieces. Ton's of that stuff was made in the 70's Lovejoy
