what is it?

Description

Ive had this since I was 13,do not know what it is.Its 3 1/2 inches in length,the white part is 1 1/4 across.It says sterling on the handle and the white has a slight irridessence to it.

Values at auction were provided with the link, just find one the most similar to yours to determine a value and multiple by about 30-50% to determine an average retail value.

The picture is not very clear but it looks like a childs teething ring. The ring could be bakelite, ivory or plastic
