WILLIAM BAL COMPANY VINTAGE BOX WITH INDIVIDUAL HAT SHELVES 3 NEW "GANGSTER" STYLE HATS COPPER COLOR ORIGIONAL

By buttamin1, 9 June, 2013
Description

THIS "HAT BOX" WAS FOUND IN A LARGE FACTORY IN THE NEW YORK AREA AND WAS PART OF A WHOLESALE BUYOUT OF A VINTAGE COLLECTOR. THE BOX HAS THE LABEL WILLIAM BAL COMPANY AND IS APPROXIMATELY 32 INCHES TALL AND 13 INCHES BY 13 WIDE. THE BOX HAS A WORN LEATHER STRAP AND MADE OF A HARDEDNED MATERIAL NOT METAL ALMOST A LEATHERY LOOK BUT HARD LIKE A LAMINTED BOARD. IT HAS RIVETS AROUND THE ADGES AND STRUCTURLY VERY SOUND BESIDES THE STRAP. INSIDE IS WHERE IT GETS INTERESTING. THERE ARE 4 HAND MADE REMOVABLE HOLDERS DESIGNED FOR HATS EACH IS FELT LINED AND WELL CONSTRUCTED FROM WOOD AND LAMINATES AND EACH HAS WOVEN FABRIC STRAP HANDLES IN GREAT CONDITION. INSIDE THIS BOX IS 3 VERY AMAZINGLY "NEW" LIKE PRESERVED "GANGSTER" STYLE HATS 2 GREY AND 1 BLACK. 2 OF THE HATS ARE MADE BY JAMES MCCREERY & SONS 5TH AVENUE 34 STREET NEW YORK AND HAS A PAPER WITH ITEM SPECIFICS INSIDE THE INNER BRIM AND 1 HAT IS MADE BY A COMPANY THAT HAS 2 LIONS ON A GOLD EMBLEM LOGO AND THE WORDS AMBASSADOR EXTRA QUALITY AND LATEST FASHION. ALL 3 HATS ARE ORIGIONAL AND APPEAR TO BE HIGH QUALITY AND FROM THE STYLE POSSIBLE A BOWLER DESIGN FROM THE 20'S. I WOULD LIKE TO GET AN IDEA OF THE VALUE OF THIS VERY UNIQUE ITEM AND FROM THE PEOPLE I HAVE SHOWN VERY INTERESTING AND NOT EVER SEEN BEFORE IS THE COMMON RESPONSE. THANKS, RANDY
