Windsor chair

Description This is a very nice Nichols & Stone Windsor chair. It came from a Doctors home and was purchased some years ago by my aunt. Tt is stamped in the wood Nichols & Stone Co. And still has the original paper tag on the bottom of the chair with the numbers 2095-5. Here are some nice pics for you to view this wonderful piece of history. It does have some minor dents in the wood where the Doctor sat down with his tools in his pocket (What was he thinking?). Please give me a value of this wonderful piece!!!! Thank you, Don

Your piece is a 20th Century reproduction of a mid 18th Century Windsor. They've never really been out of production since the 1760's. Values for the repro's vary depending on how close they follow the originals and their current condition. Nichols and Stone began operating under that name 1907, and began making windsors in the 1930's. The company is still in business, value for your chair at auction $150.00.
