Winterling china set

By larkberg, 14 February, 2010
Description

Could be called a "Breakfast Set" or a "Dessert Set". Ether way I bought them (3) together at a flea market, coffee cup, saucer and plate have the same pattern. The set is made from porcelain, the pattern has sort of a half moon edge to one side with a whimsical flower design, I'm guessing;painted in a golden color. The rims of all three pieces are also "painted" in the same golden color. On the bottom of each item it reads, Winterling "Roslau" (German umlaut {"} over the O) followed by Bavaria. On the cup there is a number 4 and on the saucer there is a number 19, however on the plate there is no number. There are no chips or nicks, but there is some small wear on the golden rims of the cup on closer inspection.
