Unless they are marked "Sterling" they are silver plated, When these were made rogers was part of International Silver, a large conglomerate of silver companies formed at the turn of the 19th century. Values for silverplate currently is in decline, due to a glut in the market and few eager buyers. Values are modest for individaul pieces like this, oftena t auction under $10.00 for the pair.
