This appears to be mahogany or a similar hardwood, with a design of some form of burl wood on the outer door. Turned legs and handle. I have retouched the finish without actually removing the old stain, then I re-sealed the piece. Not sure what it might be worth, though I know the copper lining itself is probably worth ~$40. I'm not sure if cigar smokers still use these at all to keep their cigars the appropriate humidity. Please let me know if you have any other information. I'd like to have an idea of what it's worth and possibly sell it too.
