Description I was at a rummage sale in 1985 and bought an older wooden Kennedy toolbox and was told they would not sell it to me unless I took this with it. When I got home, it was heavily covered with dirt and varnish and I could not see the brass or glass beads underneath the corner protectors. I began to clean it and when I saw the brass I had to keep going. I have used it to store small items in it from my children. I was told that at one time it had either a sextant or a surveyors instrument in it, but they had lost it.
