There's not much to say other than I paid 3.99 for this wooden candleholder. I wasn't going to purchase it but when I turned it around it had the business card for an antiques dealer who did restorations that was placed on the back of the holder using a wax seal on the four edges of the business card in the shape of a rose.
I figured that the original owner of this piece either purchased it at this antiques store or had it restored. The writing on the back of the business card says the following:
Ranneys' Antiques
Furniture
Restored - Repaired - Refurnished
H.M. Ranney
Liz & Kim
87 Glenwild Avenue
Bloomingdale, NJ 07403
The phone number on the business card's upper right side is not visible due to it being covered by one of the rose wax seals. I checked to see if this dealer was still in business but in doing an online search came up with nothing.
If anyone can help me find out more about this piece I would appreciate it. Thank you.
