Description
I have six of these chairs. My mom got them from an antique store, and they are over 100 years old.
I know very little about them - they are all a little different, and they look handmade. Anyone know anything about them? Are they worth anything?
Re: Wooden chairs - over 100 years old
They are in the style of painted Sheraton "Fancy Chairs" made during the early 19th Century, but look like early 20th century reproductions. At auction we often see them go for less than $25.00 each. These would have originally had a painted and stencilled finish.
