History The attached picture is of a kitchen table that my Great Grandfather built in the late 1800s. Unable to carry many belongings along the trek from Missouri my family traveled without. After arriving in Oregon my Great Grandfather began looking for furniture grade wood. He was offered several logs of Myrtle Wood from a local merchant in Hood River, Oregon. Being a talented craftsmen he was able to build much of what was needed for his family's new home. The chairs and smaller furniture pieces that he built have disappeared over the years. This is the last one that remains.
