I acquired this trunk and know nothing about it except it says Katharina Knapp. Huber Poremen Nash New York  Nora 3 on the front. If anyone knows any history or what it's worth I'd appreciate the information.

This may help a bit.. I found two passenger immigration records for Katharina Knapp to New York on family search.org. This may offer a timeline. 

One is 1881, the other is 1891.
