Description

Could anyone give me some Information on this stool/ table

That I bought at a bootsale recently. I am unsure if the lower rim

ans ball and claw legs actually belong to the disc top but it appears

to be the same wood. The badge of Gibraltar has been carved in the

centre and the Roman numbers "XII" under the crown, which I believe

is for the 12th regiment of Suffolk.  Any information would be fantastic

or if someone can point me in the right direction to seek more information

as I'm intrigued as to the origin of the table and how old it is. Also the initials

"WG" have been written in pencil on the back of the table top and what I look like numbers But they are hard to read. Looks like y18190 or 418196
