world war 1 trench art 75mm shell ash tray

i know that the item that i ahve here is from around the date on it(nov 11 1918) because it is made of the projectile part of the 75mm shell and other that that i really dont know much about that and i think its worth 400-2000 dollars because i ahve looked on ebay and simmlar items where going for about that.
