This is a salty WWII German heer tropical pith helmet.  These helmets are also known as 2nd model DAK helmets 

most of these sell for $100.00 + up to $400.00.

But your's has a few things missing.. the top crown. is worth $100.00 all by  its self. the strap is missing. (looks in prety good shape tho)

I would put this in the $100.00 range,,,

add the crown and strap you can ask more..Hope this helps..

I might want to buy it ma'am Im 17 and oddly enough I love this kind of stuff, mostly the german stuff, I dont have much money to buy it but I will pay for it, depending on what you offer. :) I hope you reply back.
