Description

My father was stationed in the Philippines during WWII.  There was a Japanese POW who painted this picture on a G.I. issued hankerchef in exchange for 2 packs of cigarettes.  My father died almost 18 years ago and there are no grandchildrem to pass this painting on to.  I would like to sell it and possibly to a museum so that it can be preserved.  I have no idea as to how much this painting is worht.  Could you possibly put a value on it?  Thank you in advance for your response.   Sincerely, Mary V Doughty
