Description

    I've tried to give as much info as I can on this crate. I was hoping someone more knowledgeable in WWII equipment would have more specific information on how this was used and how much it might be worth. Thank you for helping.

Medium The box is mainly made of wood (beautiful wood partitions inside) with metal corner brackets, handles, lid hardware and a lock that works. .
Distinguishing marks The metal tag inside has "Bartch. Quilitz & Co." "Aktiengesellschaft" and "Berlin NW 40" on it. The date is stamped next to the plate. The soldiers name and ID# are clearly stenciled on it along with medical crosses.
Condition Excellent
Size and dimensions of this item 291/2"Lx20"Wx121/2"Hx9''D
Date Period 1942 is stamped in it.
Weight 45 lbs
History I found this at a yard sale one day and had to grab it. It is in great condition for it's age.
