Description
An oil painting I think. I bought it at an estate sale. It was actually hidden in a wall. Fair condition. Plaque at bottom of frame says "Yankee Clippers Sail Again 1838-1939". I don't see a signature on the painting but there is one on the back of the frame - RG Pattison. No other writing or marks

I don't know the monetary value, but this is a poster based on a painting by Gordon Grant. It was the cover photo on the August, 1939 issue of Travel magazine.
This poster is still being reproduced, and sells new. If you put "Yankee Clippers Fly Again" in parentheses and search, you will a wide variety of prices for vintage versions.
