Ypsilanti Furniture Company- Wicker Rocking Chair

By kellyrobertsbryant, 14 May, 2012
Description

I found this antique wicker rocker at a resale store in Houston, TX. I realized later it was not the right fit for the room and was going to list on criags list and noticed the metal plate on the back of the rocker "Ypsilanti Furniture Iona, MIchigan" The chair is in fabulous condition considering it was produced most likely between 1920-1940's. It only has one spot in the back left leg where the wicker is a bit unraveled. Otherwise the chair is in mint condition. The fabric has been reupholstered but the seat still looks like it has the original fabric under the two new layers of fabric. I'm curious how much to sell this quality chair for. Any advice and information is greatly appreciated!
