Very unique Secretary, drop front desk, there is a brass tag on upper middle back from Lane and Sager in Los Angeles. This seems to be a unique peice of upper end furniture... Any help is appreciated
This piece actually dates from the 1920's, such pieces are based on a mix of 17th & 18th Century European furniture styles, making them look far older than they really are. This one's better than most, comparable pieces sell at auction in the $300.00- $400.00 range.
Is there any place I can find more info about this peice, and is it a one of a kind, as I've never found another. One other peice of info. that came out is that it came from back east (boston?) abt. 1900? I really appreciate your time
Thx
