Purchased by my grandparents in the mid 1950's. They bought it in Chicago Ill. It was given to me a few years ago. I believe the wood is teak. Table is unique in that you can fold the top in half.

I'd look really hard for a label, valued for Danish Modern depend a great deal on the designer and maker. Post back what you find and I'll have another look at it for you.
