All but "Scarlet and Rhett: The Finale" are in the original boxes. All have COA. All have a brochure type thing that tell about the plate with a picture of the plate. Brochure back has picture listing of previous plates in the series with picture, name of plate,issue price, and bradex number of plates. The Knowles Co. plates are all signed by R. Kursar. The W. L. George was signed by H. Rogers. We have taken pictures of each plate individually and the COAs. We also took a picture of all of them at once and one of the backs all displaying the COA with the plates.

We found them at an auction. All are first edition except we don't know about "The Burning of Atlanta" what edition it is. All except "Burning in Atlanta" were made by Edwin M. Knowles Newell, West Virginia, USA. "The Burning of Atlanta" was made by W. L. George Fine China and is a Golden Anniversary Plate (1 of 12).

I hate to say this, but collectors plates with very rare exceptions are terrible for investment purposes, few if any have even maintain their original retail value even thirty years later. The "Gone with the Wind" plates routinely sell for less than $15.00 at auction and in many cases retail for less than $35.00.
