Description
I am told that this print was taken from the first printing of the book "The Arabian Knights" published 1909. It was found at an estate sale in New Hampshire near the location where the artist lived for many years. There are small initials M.P. in the right corner in blue ink. It says Edward Gross Co. publisher and Charles Scribner and Sons. I am wondering if it may have a title and which part of the story it illustrates and if the initials have any significance to its origin.
