Antique desk

Based on what I can see this is actually a vanity. Desks usually have fully finished backs because the were meant to be used anywhere in a room and not generally against a wall. It's a colonialRevival style piece and dates from the second quarter of the 20th Century. Values for examples like this in need of repair or refinishing have very modest values and often sell for under $100.00 at auction.
