Vintage knickerbocker joy of a toy animals of distinction plush lion

Stuffed plush lion About 20" in length
Fur is golden tan with orange yarn mane
Attached ears on top two tone gold and dark brown
Hard plastic green and black eyes
Dark brown triangular patch for bridge of nose with black pompom on tip
White mouth no lips or teeth
Black felt claws on all 4 paws
No tail

I can't find anything about a lion plush from Knickerbocker. I've seen lots of other toys with this label but no lion.

By the label this lion would date too

Circa 1960 - 1965    Origin NY NY

This tag was used during this period and changed after 1965 when the knickerbocker company relocated from New York to Middlesex New Jersy ...

Estimated value $30 - $50 US in right market.
