Du you have any more (and perhaps bigger) photos? Upload them to imgur and post link here... The pendant looks like it could be gold, but it's weird that you can't find any markings at all. The chain (or rather, linked scales) looks more like brass in your photo, and not very well made. Hope you can provide better photos so I might be able to help you out!

I'm also 99% sure it's not an asian dragon, but a sea serpent design you have. It has no arms or legs, and you can see what appears to be waves washing up around it. The tail looks like some kind of "fleur de lis" almost...
