Beautifully hand crafted over 80 years ago by a master wood craftsman. It has been gently used and will continue to withstand the test of time.
This Loom features a 44" wide beater, with a 45" depth and a 50" high castle. It has a 7 dent reed (7 slots per inch) measuring 42" long. It's timeless and heavy duty construction consists of beautiful Mahogany stained solid hard wood, brass and wood handles adorn the front hand break and crank. With a counter balance system it is ideal for tapestry and/or rug weaving, however you are not limited to tapestry and rugs. The metal heddles and the reed are in good condition; although they do have a little corrosion (hence its age) the patina is beautiful. Both are usable as is, or they can be easily replaced if desired.
Pick up is preferred, shipping will be expensive and the buyer will pay all shipping and handling costs in addition to the purchase price.
