3 Finger Bridge Model
Mid to late 19th century original oil painting on canvas of a seascape with fishermen and their boats. The painting and frame have just recently been cleaned and restored by famed restorer Chatree Suvanasai of Old Town Alexandria, VA (restoration costs were more than $1,200 – receipt available).
Artist: Unknown (but believed to be by Richard Dey De Ribcowsky). Painting is signed (lower right corner) but it has not been researched yet.
Technique: Oil on canvas
Frame: Wooden antique frame with applied gesso (19th century). The actual frame width is 6” from edge to painting and 3” deep
Size: Measures 19” height x 29” width (without frame) and 25” height x 35” width (with frame)
Table is 29 inches tall & both sides fold down.

Not sure yet if I want to sell or not... Purchased furniture at an estate sale this last summer (2008). The bed is very high, above my waste. The bed comes with original sideboards and slats underneath. The matching hat box dresser and washstand are both on wooden casters (see pic). The dresser drawers look homemade because the back of the drawer is not seemed perfectly like a manufacturer would do (see pic). The washstand cabinet locking system is also interesting to me, sending photos. Please let me know what you can. Thanks, Barb

Smith-Corona Sterling. 1959 Serial # 5A862417. 1959 was the year that Smith-Corona introduced white keys. It was also the year that they introduced the new Galaxie body style (see below). The "Super 5" body style would last for a few more years, but this specimen was truly one of the last of its era. By the way, this is the "seafoam green" edition.
We have 20 posters of this quality in same condition. some posters have stamped numbers on back.
