Free Antique, Collectible, & Art Appraisals
I thought it would help to have both descriptions for your information.I understand that you'll only appraise one. I have been unable to find anything about them. They have been in my family for at least 50 years. They both have an iridescent glaze and the smaller looks hand-painted in a japanese motif. An appraisal of either one would be most appreciated. The signature looks hand-painted in black on both around the outside rim and there is a "period" mark after both misse. and fournier. The orange vase has "japan stamped? on center of bottom also.

It looks like it was hand painted. The lamp itself is in good shape and works. The lamp shade isnt real bad but could be replaced.

the chest was brought to America by my great grandfather when he immigrated from Europe. Do not know date of his arrival. My grandmother was born in Chicago in 1904 so I know it was before that date.

My grandmothers High School Diploma from Freeport High School in Freeport Ohio. This school is no longer used. I'm not sure when it stopped being used as a High School but it was shut down as an elementary school in the 1990's. This has been kept in excellent condition.
