This is an antique secretary desk that was a family piece. There is a label on the back of it indicating it was originally made at Grand Rapids Book Case Co. in Hastings, Michagan and was bought at American Furniture Co. in Denver, Colorado.Â
It is 30 3/4 inches wide, 18 1/4 inches deep, and 30 inches high. It has a matching chair that does have some tearing in the upholstery underneath the seat.  The desk is in good condition, but does have some scratches. The inside has a drawer with 2 slots on either side for papers. The front of the desk has key for locking.

My grandfather acquired this ornate partners desk in the early 20th century. it has many of the design features of a Chippendale. We are seeking to determine its value.  Not sure if it is an authentic Chippendale or a replica. In any case it is very old.

The plate has Ford circa 1896. It appears to have 22 K gold on it too, although it doesn't specify so. It has a quality control sticker on the back of the frame that says "Bard's" of Medelein, Il. I'm guessing that is where it was distributed from.
Solid pine tressel table and 2 benches. A lot fancier than a picnic table. Approximately 1" inch.
