What you have is called a Etagere, they were a very popular during the late Victorian , used for display of collectible curio's
pottery and porcelain items. Most of them were made of Walnut or mahogany, some made with Maple with a dark red mahogany stain. They were very popular again during the antique crazy 1980s 1990s, but since that time prices have dropped dramatically. We generally retail these now for under $450.
