By Lamp1902, 10 September, 2023
Description

Inherited an Italian Porcelain lamp. Know it was made in Italy and has artist markings. I have several photos. The bottom appears to be cloth covered and is old and stained but intact. I would guess the cord has been replaced. The light works. It measures:
Base width= 16"
Base Depth= 14"
Height of lady to include base= almost 14" (The base is close to 3" so Lady 11")

Italian lamps like this tend…

Italian lamps like this tend to date from the late 1920's through World War Two. They were made in very large numbers for the Export market, values for them last peaked in the late 1980's, but have plunged since then. At auction comparable lamps often sell now for under $50.00.

Thank you so very much. I…

Thank you so very much. I appreciate it greatly. It has several features that resemble a Capidemonte, but the markings do not match any of the Many Capidemonte Markings. The double layered brass base and the colors used.
